What's up....

...with the Lee's, you ask??  We've been so busy!  I'll blog with pictures.  Are you ready?  Here we go...
School's Out.  It's time for UNCW Swim School:

It was hard for Eliza to give up control to float on her back,
but by the end of the week, she was doing a GREAT job!

Jackson with the big kids.
This is Jackson's second year participating and Eliza's first year.  They both LOVED it!!  I think they are both part fish!

Tubing and boating with friends on the water way:

Jackson getting ready to go tubing.

Charlie and Jackson enjoying the ride.

Jackson said he liked going fast.

Having fun on the boat.

"How was it, buddy?"  As you can see, two thumbs up!

Yep, we did it!  She's TWO!

And...she LOVED it!

Jackson and I getting a "wilder" ride!

Killing the sunglasses

NO fear!  If the big kids are doing it, Eliza is too!!

Jackson and Lucy

McNair and Jackson

After we allowed Eliza (2 YEARS OLD!!) to go tubing, Charlie and I dialogued how the ED (code for "ER") visit would go if something happened:  "Well, you see, doctor and Mrs. DSS, she said she wanted to go tubing..."

A little rest and relaxation for mom:

We started this trip in 2002!  Man, time flies!!

Kivette's visit:

Cole and Eliza.  She used to call him "Cold Kibette."

Eliza and Cole hiding out in the "fort."  I couldn't resist adding this picture!
Wonder what they'll say when they think each other has "cooties?!?!?"

Fun at the beach:
Such big boys...

LOVE!

Concentrating on the wall

Sweet pea!

Fun at the pool:

Once again, NO fear!

Eliza says, as she's pointing the the "no diving" sign, "Mom, what does this say?"
Me: "It says, 'no diving.'"
Eliza: "Mom, why is Jackson diving?"
Man, oh, man...

Bathing beauty (Princess)

I can't believe they are THIS big!

Happy Father's Day:

S-I-X

Yep, today he's 6, six, SIX, S-I-X!!  I can't believe it's been 6 years ago today, Jackson Brady Lee entered our world!!!

We had a fantastic day today.  Jackson woke up bright and early to remind us that today was indeed his birthday.  How could we forget?!?!?

The party at Chuck E Cheese was so much fun!  We had the place to ourselves.  The kids played video games,  won A LOT of tickets, crawled around the indoor playground, and were able to dance with ol' Chuck.  I think Jackson's favorite part was the Ticket Blaster.  He (with safety glasses) entered the ticket blaster.  The tickets blew around, and he had to catch as many as he possibly could.  Jackson tucked his shirt in, so he could stuff the tickets into his shirt.  The ticket blaster blasted Jackson with over 800 more tickets than he already won while playing arcade games!!  He was ecstatic!

Playing on the indoor playground

Down the slide

Jackson winning lots of tickets
The most difficult part: exchanging the tickets for prizes

Liza B had fun too!

Stuffing tickets in his shirt

The Mario party wouldn't be complete without a Mario cake.  The cake was better than we could have asked!  We bought the little characters to go on the cake.  Jackson loved it!

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you..."

After we got home, we had a little time to rest.  Nana and Papa came to open presents.  Jackson was VERY excited to get a Wii.  Charlie immediately set it up, so Jackson could play.  Nana and Papa got him a Super Mario Brothers game, which he loved!
It should be noted that Yoshi is Jackson's
favorite Mario character.  Thanks, Flynts!

Liza B encouraging the Mario obsession!

"Not a Wii!"
"Mario!!!"
Jackson was able to choose a birthday dinner out.  He chose Red Robin where "I can get a free sundae."  The staff came over to our table to announce his birthday and sing to Jackson.  He thought it was great!

His free sundae.  Yum!
Jackson was SO appreciative of his Mario party at Chuck E. Cheese.  During the party, Jackson got up to give Charlie and I the biggest hug and said, "Thank you so much, mommy and daddy!"  Such a precious soul! "No, no, thank YOU, Jackson!"

Our family on Jackson's 6th birthday.
The house is quiet now.  Everyone's asleep.  The mom is making her way there now...  On to June 2nd, when we'll have a 6 year, 1 day old son.....
