Thanksgiving Leftovers

And....Jackson lost his FOURTH tooth today.  Amazing how time flies....
Our big boy!!!

A Thankful Thanksgiving

Well...I've been wanting to start a blog for quite some time.  The main reason is to keep up with our family, what we have done and to document our lives as our children are growing so quickly.  I had planned to start before Charlie's China trip, but learning Skype was enough for me then.  So...here we are....   Jackson is 5 1/2 and Eliza is (almost) 28 months.

We've had a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!  We got up early Thursday morning and drove to the Lee's house in Asheboro. We were greeted by FAB (Charlie's sister, Betsy) and Tatum.  Jackson and Eliza were very excited to see their cousin, Tatum.  We've been talking about seeing Tatum for two weeks.

Charlie's parents prepared a wonderful, Thanksgiving meal.  There were so many around the table..Pappy, Beme, Charlie, Lindsay, Jackson, Eliza, Mattie Frank, FAB, Charlie W, Tatum and Jerri (Charlie W.'s mom).  What a wonderful meal and even the dessert pocket of our stomachs were full...Eliza and Jackson had 2 servings of dessert...Hey, it's Thanksgiving!!!

I hope neither of my children decide to be a race car driver!
Today we went to the Greensboro Children's Museum, which was a lot of fun!  It's changed some since the last time we visited.  Then, we enjoyed a nice lunch at Ham's.  Jackson wanted to drive by the hospital where he was born...so we did a quick drive-by Women's Hospital in Greensboro.  Luckily, he didn't ask how he came out of my tummy....  I just knew that would be next.  Luckily, Beme was keeping him busy in the back of the car.  We also did a quick drive-by the house we lived in in Greensboro.  He wasn't that impressed, but Charlie and I discovered it looked just like it did when we lived there.  Tonight, we had (another) wonderful meal at Sir Pizza. Do you see a theme of eating when we come home?! Jackson tells me Sir Pizza is his favorite restaurant on the Earth.  (He is his mother's son!!!)

And now, as football plays in the background, I blog.  I think I'm gonna enjoy this!
